The mission of GO! Transportation is to provide safe, reliable transportation to nonprofit organizations serving young people in our community, increasing access to activities and services for all of our community’s youngest citizens.

Where We Started!

Phase One - Complete

  • Three nonprofit/foundation leaders researched toward a solution

    • Surveyed local challenges​

    • Researched other communities' solutions

    • Identified private business partner to pilot on a small scale

  • Pilot developed by Youth Art Team

    • Used 12 years of experience transporting youth + input from the youth themselves

    • Recruited organizations to join the collective

    • Funded with in-kind support from Youth Art Team staff

  • Launched Go! Transportation Pilot

    • Transportation began for Youth Art Team, TryPie & Shipht​

    • Funded with grant from McElroy Trust & in-kind support from Youth Art Team staff

    • Advisory Team formed, began meeting monthly

  • Documentation & Development

    • Improve systems and processes based on Phase One experiences​

    • Form fiscally-sponsored Go! organization

  • Scaling

    • Hire Go! Director and Chaperones

    • Restart youth transportation organizations in the collective

    • ​Recruit additional organizations to join the collective

  • Develop transition strategy

  • Serve more and more youth

  • Increase access to activities by getting kids where they want to GO!
